PreK classrooms in Medicine Lodge Grade School provide a dynamic and engaging environment where purposeful play supports growth in:

Slots are available for all students above the age of three!
Screenings are available a couple of times per year. Check the Frequent Links for information
If you want to set up a time to complete enrollment in person, call the district office (620) 886-3370 or email supt@usd254.org to schedule a time.
Returning MLGS PreK students can complete enrollment in August when we open enrollment for returning students.

PreK Hours:
Typical Weeks - Monday-Thursday
For most PreK students:
3 year old: Morning 7:50 am - 11:00am
4 year old: Afternoon 12:00pm - 3:30pm
In order to ensure we have enough hours, there will be some Fridays that one or both session will come to school. These dates will be communicated in newsletters and on the calendar.
Bus Students
Students that live out of town are eligible for bus transportation. Call the bus barn at (620) 886- to arrange transportation. Your bus driver will communicate pickup and dropoff times. They are dependent on the number of people on the route.
Drop-off and Pick-up Procedures
You are welcome to walk your child to class/ Enter through the Office entrance and take a right at the first exit down the main hallway. We are located in the storm shelter outside.
Do not park along the curb in the parking lot.
We will bring your student out the Office entrance at pickup. We will release them to you only unless you make arrangements for someone else to pick up. Call the office to let us know!
